The Start of High-End Van Luxury for 2023

2023 floor plans are trickling into our news feeds, and we’re liking what we’re seeing! This month, Jayco caught our eye with their 2023 Solstice Class B van. It’s a luxury touring van—in every sense.

The solstice is built on the Ford Transit AWD 350HD chassis, ensuring a smooth ride wherever you’re off to. It’ll be an even more comfortable trip with the addition of Jayco’s JRIDE® ride and handling package featuring Hellwig® helper springs and Rear Koni® shocks. Bottom line: wherever you roll, you’ll be cruising like scissors through gift wrap.

The other key add-ons to the Solstice include a Carefree® armless motion sensing patio awning with an LED light strip, as well as a Timberline hydronic heating system. (However, the Onan® 2800W generator comes standard!)

Now for the luxury part. Inside the Solstice, you’ll find Tecnoform® European-style, high-gloss cabinetry and a power rear sofa. As van-life folks know, space is key. That power rear sofa ain’t just for sitting—it converts into a 68” x 76” bed that sleeps two passengers. Your dining locations are also customizable (of course, you can technically eat wherever you want, but this is a luxury vehicle, after all). The Solstice includes a lagun table with two mounts—one in the front behind the captain’s chair and shotgun seat, and the other right in front of the sofa in the rear. There’s also a 24 in. LED Smart TV conveniently positioned on the cabinet facing the sofa, which sets you up perfectly for those dinner-and-a-movie evenings.

At the center of the van, you’ll find a wall-mounted JAYCOMMAND® total coach control system (powered by Firefly) to help you monitor water tanks, temperature, battery, and fuel, and control your lighting, HVAC, and generators—all over Wifi and Bluetooth.

The 2023 Solstice is on the market starting at $175,050 and clocks in at 22’ long. Be sure to check out the floorplan and take the full tour here.
