Splendor by Night

Hit the Strip

To truly experience the raw magnetism and seductive grandeur of Vegas, you need to walk LAS VEGAS BOULEVARD—aka “the Strip”—at night. Ornate luxury hotels and casino resorts parade famous names you’ve seen in the film: the Luxor, MGM Grand, Bellagio, Caesar’s Palace, and Mirage. Feel free to walk in and see the spectacle of nightlife in Vegas, even if you don’t feel like playing the odds at a table.

Dine Like Kings

Stay on the west side of the Strip and head over to THE COSMOPOLITAN, with[ an array of classy restaurants, like Blue Ribbon, to choose from. You’ll need a reservation if you’re eating after 8 p.m. on Friday or Saturday, but hey, this is high-class. You won’t regret it when you’re feeling extra Vegas as you drink a Mezcal Old Fashioned at the Ghost Donkey: Mezcal and Tequila Lounge.

Head Downtown

Once you’ve pushed past the Strip, you arrive at the center of downtown Las Vegas: THE FREMONT STREET EXPERIENCE. This technicolor quarter offers ziplining, live music, light shows, pub crawls, shopping, and exquisite dining options. Guests of all ages are welcome at Fremont Street, though the nightlife is lively and individual establishments may have age restrictions.

Get Some Tickets

If you flash forward to the future, when you’re telling everyone about your trip, consider starting with this, “When we saw David Copperfield live in Vegas …” There’s simply too much great entertainment in Vegas to not see a show—whether that’s magic, Cirque du Soleil, or live comedy. After that, the night is all yours. Just remember: If you wake up on your RV rooftop … well, that’s on you.
